Environmental protection is one of the fundamental pillars of the ESG approach, and at Fincons, we fully understand how the well-being of future generations also depends on our actions today.
For this reason, Fincons has chosen to support Plastic Free by actively participating in the Clean Up Day on June 8, for the second year in a row, sponsoring the events in Monza, where the Italian headquarters of the Group is located, and Bari, home of the Fincons Future Gateway.
Throughout the day which involved many Italian locations, participants helped clean selected areas of plastic waste.
Plastic Free is an association that has been fighting plastic pollution since 2019 by organizing clean-up and awareness activities through a network of hundreds of partners across Italy. To date, the association has removed almost 4 million kilograms of plastic and waste in over 6000 clean-up events.
After last year's success, once again Fincons people took part in a special morning that combined environmental commitment with team building among colleagues. The total amount of plastic removed from the environment was more than 1000 kg.
