On Monday 23rd September Fincons started the Isola Formativa Fincons project, an initiative in collaboration with the Province of Monza and Brianza and the Social Cooperative Il Grappolo, which supports individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds with job placements, offering them the chance to gain valuable professional and personal experience.
The project will last six months, with potential for extension to a year, and provides five trainees with the opportunity to gain insights into the world of work through an in-person training programme at our Group’s headquarters in Vimercate. The goal is to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through hands-on learning and by involving participants in company’s internal processes.
The sessions are delivered by Fincons professionals alongside a tutor from the Cooperative. During the training programme, participants will acquire skills in using the Microsoft Office suite and they will learn how to create a digital archive.
Fincons is among the first companies in Lombardy to launch such an important project, which promotes inclusion and values individuals within the workplace. Every day, the company strives to put people at the center, building an increasingly sustainable, fair, and inclusive work environment.
